Re: WTB: Printed Circuit Board w/Tach
chevy obsolete has a nos/new gm for $50.00 - I looked it up yesterday and chevy obsolete is on the venders list. I think it's worth it-I bought nos on ebay and paid the same.Steve
the part # is 6290459-good luck

Re: WTB: Printed Circuit Board w/Tach
You are not an idiot. I agree with Nate...this is a re-pop part. They may at 1 time have had NOS GM, but no matter the number you put in, you still get reverted back to the WT part number. It also lists cross references (click on xref) of the part number... this one replaces the GM part number. I don't think a company this big that sells parts is going to make that kind of error and sell OEM at that price.

Re: WTB: Printed Circuit Board w/Tach
Thanks Harry... but I already ran that on their website and am confused by how their search system works. When I search the NOS part number, it simply reverts me back to the non-NOS search number provided.
Repop through Classic Parts - $39.95 for price comparison http://www.classicparts.com/1967-72-...ctinfo/24-483/ I've seen NOS tach circuit boards sell for $100 shipped on the board and higher on Ebay.

Re: WTB: Printed Circuit Board w/Tach
Nate try this,
On the Home Page, Select "OUR CATALOGS" Then Select "1929-1972 Truck Catalog" then on the Blue page, in the left hand corner, select "Search By Part Number (6290459) and go to the far right and select the "Blue Search" Button. It should bring you to the cart with the Tach PCB

Re: WTB: Printed Circuit Board w/Tach
Right on Harry... but watch the part number change. When you search for 6290459 it changes to 67-9266WT.
Just saying to call before you order online... Also the way you searched for that part was through the 'normal' parts, not NOS which you click on "Click here for NOS and used This inventory must be searched by part number" just below the 29-72 catalog. When you search by the NOS part number provided, you still get reverted to the part number I listed above.

Re: WTB: Printed Circuit Board w/Tach
I would bet the house that it is a repop. I am with everyone else, the last few that I have seen on ebay that were NOS went for 75-125 range. If they do have NOS ones for $50.00 then I would buy them out at that price.

Re: WTB: Printed Circuit Board w/Tach
I saw this post yesterday and didn't want to pee on anyone's parade. That most certainly will be a reproduced part at $50. You better believe if a place like Obsolete Chevy has a N.O.S. part you will be paying top dollar, not a comparable price to reproduction. They ain't no dummies and they now how to make money.

Re: WTB: Printed Circuit Board w/Tach
Wasn't trying to call anyone's post out, or say they weren't NOS, but I just had an inclination to believe they were not NOS.
Glad to hear you ordered one Harry.
