Re: line lock???

What are you trying to accomplish with the line lock? Generally they are only used for drag racing and they would only lock the front brakes.

Re: line lock???

You can't use a line lock as a parking brake. You will burn up the solenoid and kill the battery in no time. They are designed to be used for very short periods only.

Re: line lock???

You need a mico lock like the bigger trucks have. I have one on my 86 K30 ex firetruck dump.

Re: line lock???

A guy I work for had a 79 1 ton bucket truck with a micro line lock . It was a 12 v system and was on the front brakes . It worked well as long as the truck was running but it did bleed off when left parked not running. It took us 3 hours to get it out off the woods after it bled off.
They do make a manual version that might work better.

Its actually "MICO" lock but it seems like "Micro" is close enough.
