Original 3rd row seat pic
Can anyone take a few pics of how the 3rd seat is mounted correctly, need to see the front and rear mounts so I can get an idea for putting mine in.
Thanks Smitty

Re: Original 3rd row seat pic
I can take pics of the mounting brackets, but my 3rd bench isn't bolted in since I take it out a lot to make room.

Re: Original 3rd row seat pic
Thanks Vectorit,
I have all the mounting stuff, just trying to see the proper mounting of it in the burb, mine has the 3rd row on the SPID, but it doesnt look like one was ever there. I have a seat now, just making sure its right, had to reassemble it and its not mounting up with anything that looks like a mounting hole. Smitty

Re: Original 3rd row seat pic
It came with a 3rd row?
If it did, then there should be holes in the wood for the bolts. You should be able to line of the back brackets to the existing holes, then the fronts will line up to where you place the hold downs.

Re: Original 3rd row seat pic
I do not have any pics. My 72,that I no longer have, had either plastic or metal plugs in the floor in the seat holes. I do not know if it had the third seat originally. I bought a Blazer rear seat and clamps. It mounted just like the second seat. Seems like some of the holes are blind, and maybe the belt holes aren't. It has been at least 6 years since I put it in though. Hope this was helpful. Jay

Re: Original 3rd row seat pic
I'm in the same boat...need some pics. If someone with a 3 seater burb is near Long Beach, drive it over and you can drink my beer while I check it out. If this happens, I will post pics!

Re: Original 3rd row seat pic
Ok, I've been meaning to post these for you, but plumb forgot. Here's how mine is attached. I am missing one of the U type brackets, but you should get the idea.

Re: Original 3rd row seat pic
Can you snap a pic of the support under the floor that the seat belts and rear brackets bolt to? I just need a snap shot taken from the inside rear fender well, showing the types of support bars between the wood and the frame.

Re: Original 3rd row seat pic
Here you go. Let me know if these are what you're looking for. First one is from left wheel well, second right well and third is again right wheel well and of the front hold down bracket attatch nut.
