White vinyl with blue houndstooth

Has anyone ever done this? Has anyone ever put the blue and black houndstooth together with parchment vinyl? Kind of a cross between the white vinyl/blue plaid highlander and the blue vinyl/blue houndstooth. It might look kinda neat. Any opinions?

Re: White vinyl with blue houndstooth

I have personally done this color combo for a customer in Houston and it looks great... its starting to become harder to aquire the blue and black houndstooth so if you do plan on doing this I would jump on it...

Re: White vinyl with blue houndstooth

Any chance you have some pictures of how it turned out? I've always thought it would be cool, but have never seen anyone do it. I've got some sample of blue vinyl, white vinyl, blue/black houndstooth, and the blue/black/white highlander plaid from SMS but I can't decide which combination to go with.

Parchment/Red wasn't available from the factory either, but parchment looks good with everything.

Re: White vinyl with blue houndstooth

Wow original-71 and zoomin, those are awesome. I am very very interested in doing this now. I do love the parchment. And I love the white door panels with the blue!

Just curious but how much of the vinyl and houndstooth would I need to buy to make my own cover? For a stock bench? For '72 buckets? For buddy buckets?

Call SMS Auto Fabrics. They can tell you how much, and are a great source for the material itself.
