how to take apart upper a arm
This is my first lowering job and want to know how to remove a arm so i can put in a 3inch drop spring?

Don't touch the upper arm.
Remove the lower shock bolt Unbolt sway bar clamp (if your truck has a swaybar) Put a floor jack about an inch below the lower control arm Pop the lower ball joint loose Remove the spring reverse to install.

A few tips: - chain the spring to the frame unless you are brave like me, or it may fly out at you (but probably not) - replace the lower ball joint while you are at it, and the upper if it needs it - if you have air tools, get an air hammer and a ball joint pickle for it, you'll break it free in literally a minute (took me about a half hour when I did it the good old fashioned way)
