Finding wheels

I didn't realize it was such a chore finding some nice used wheels in 16 or 17 inch for our trucks.
I guess old school thinking was that everyone went to 18 and 20s by now and there would be plenty of the 16 and 17s around.

Re: Finding wheels

I'd like the stock looking wheel, except in 17 inch, 7s in front, 8s in back, put the stock cap on, and call it a day

Re: Finding wheels

I know the feeling. I've spent good amount of money on rally wheels and tires and I still have rubbing issues due tot he 3" spindles. I have a freeby truck on the way that has stock 16x6s on it. Leave it to the Fed government to order something like that back in 1973.

Re: Finding wheels

i am going to stick with stock ralleys and use some Safari center caps. I have found there are not a lot of trucks left at the wrecking yards close by -- crushed them all when steel got high..still no luck on the 16s or 17s

It is all about where you look . There is a set on the board here . You might have to get in line but they are what you are looking for . See link below.
