Finally got ECE 4/6 drop right...

After 3 sets of springs on the ECE 4/6 drop, I finally got it right. Started with the normal 1.5" drop and it was too low in front. Went to 1" drop spring in the front, still too low. Finally ECE sent me a standard set of springs with 0 drop. Now with the 2.5" drop spindle and standard spring, it sits perfect for an everyday driver. I loved the look of the slam in front, just wasn't practical for a daily driver. ECE is great to work with!!!!

Re: Finally got ECE 4/6 drop right...

Truck looks great but it sounds like after starting with a 4/6 drop you ended up with a 2.5 front and you never mentioned anything about swapping springs in the rear so form the pics I'm guessing you ended up with a 2.5/6 total drop?

Re: Finally got ECE 4/6 drop right...

Looks good...but if I am understanding you correctly... ECE sent you a stock height spring to achieve a 4in drop in the front with your 2.5in drop spindles??

That's the numbers, but it now measures what most do with the full 4/6. But yes... It's still 6" in back. 2.5/6 normal would be much higher in front than back.

Re: Finally got ECE 4/6 drop right...

I now measure 27.5" from ground to top of fender in front. 28.5" in the back. Can't figure out what was so odd with my truck. But something was.

Looks great but baffling how a 2.5 drop is that low....maybe it's a 4" drop spindle

I would almost bet to say you have different or maybe, at least, altered lower control arms.

I was pondering the same question, how is that such a low drop with a spindle only,

Trucks looks killer either way.
