Wheel Options

So I may be picking up an 1987 SRW Crew Cab this weekend. My question is what wheel options are there since this is a 2 wheel drive 8 lug and I will not be lifting and more than likely be dropping it a bit soon after? Also the engine in there is a 350 doe sthis make it a 3/4 ton or a 1 ton? I know some people do axle swaps but since this will be my DD and will also be used on occasions to tow my 1965 C10 and my wifes 66 Comet I dont plan on laying frame just want a better stance. Any ideas, websites or recommendations would be appreciated.

I really like the 19-24" wheels used on the duallys but I cant convince the wife to let me spend the extra money for the dually so for this will have to do.

Almost forgot , what options do I have to drop the truck being that it may be a 3/4 ton or 1 ton? Is it the same as the 1/2 tons and if so same companies bell tech and such? Any info on this would be appreciated as well.

Oh yeah since this will see Chicago snow and salt it is also another reason why I will not go to low anytime soon.

Re: Wheel Options

There are lots of options for 8 lug wheels. Have a look here to see lots of options:

Then have fun shopping. Hope you get the truck!

Stock right down to the wheels, it's primary purpose is to haul cows.
It's secondary purpose is to provide me with many hours of fun and frustration.
