Re: 3/4 ton Hub ?

I'm no expert, but you probably would have to change the spindle at the least. Maybe the knuckle too if the bolt pattern is different. The stub shafts shouldn't be any different. Is that 6 bolt setup a ford or something? I like what you have now, just cuz it's not all rusty

Agreed. When I did mine, I swapped everything from the spindle out...spindle,backing plate, hub/rotor and lock outs.

Re: 3/4 ton Hub ?

You should be able to get by with just the wheel hubs from a 71 to 76 K-20 and depending on what you have now you may need the spindles from the same. Rotors and backing plates you have now will work...then get a set of Warn 9072 locking hubs and that should do it.

Re: 3/4 ton Hub ?

If I'm not mistaken, the hubs you like the look of so much are conversion hubs for a truck equipped with a NP203.

I'm pretty sure they are Warn 9072s, these were a replacement for the big Spicer external drive hubs used from the early 60s to mid 70s on Ford, IH, Dodge, Chevy and Jeeps

Re: 3/4 ton Hub ?

I agree, looks wise the big hub 44’s are interesting to look at and “look” mean. Functionality wise, they are no better or worse than the rotor/hub assembly in picture 1.

I also agree with Blazerman…..
