Gears

How do I identify A posi carrier? The only stamp I see on it is 30060, ED01, 138 and armasteel. These are the only markings I see.

Re: Gears

I never go by the code on rear ends, good chance they have been redone or swapped out for something else.I take the cover off and look for the gear ratio while there then you know what it is.You can get the backend up off the ground and then spin 1 wheel and c if the other wheel is going in the same direction, but I still take the cover off

Re: Gears

These are the stamps on the carrier itself.

Re: Gears

I'll let you open this link if you tell me how wide your tubs are and why you used four new ones.

Re: Gears

Thank You for the link. Good info. My tubs are 17" wide not including the mount flange. I used 2 to make 1.

Re: Gears

The reason I ask was do the re-pops not match the good enough or were your original ones to messed up? And thanks for the measurement.
