tranny crossmembers

are they different for a th350 and th400
or is it like most late 60 to 70's cars just move the crossmember back some?

If I'm not mistaken they are the same crossmember; just different location depending on the transmission/tailshaft length. My PG and my 700R4 are compatible in terms of the crossmember. The location is the only difference.
