68 chevy c10 project
i figure ill start a new thread for my 68. the 71 is my brothers and he just join the site so he'll take over that thread now lol. anyway ill post some pic of what i have. thanx

here are pics when i first got it, it was blue and i bought it for 800. it has a I6 and i just finish a 350 for it, it primer black n i started to paint the inside n was lowered, spring were cut. but i installed new toxic drop shocks and lower springs 3/4

and heres the truck with new rims off a 2001 trail blazer 20in rims with 2in spacers in the rear n 1 1/2 in front

well i just picked up a sm465 to replace my old one, the one in the truck grinds from 2nd to 3rd i stripped it down and painted it. i also found my clutch bracket i needed off ebay, i paid alot for it 85 buck lol. here are some pics. i should be pulling the old motor soon and cleaning up the engine bay and painting black so ill have some pics soon. oh i bought the tranny for $75, was that too much? it came from a running truck that shifts perfect with no grinds that was parted out, also if anyone is from north cal the guy i got the tranny from has 10 to 15 complete trucks he is parting out and a shed full of parts. here is his ad from craigslist. i think his prices are fair, what do u guys think?

well i made some progress, i redid my front grill and added yellow headlight, what do you guys think lol. also started on my motor swap from the l6 to the v8 installed my new trans and also sanded and stripped down the engine bay and painted it black. here are some pics. i also found out that i have the wrong radiator support in the truck as well, that why i counldnt get the trim to fit around the headlights i was going nut trying to figure it out lol. here are some pics of the progress
