I'm parting out an 87 SWB in DFW Texas

I'm parting out this 87 SWB truck. I will be keeping the fuel injection parts, various engine parts, front clip, gas tanks, some trinkets and doo dads, and wiring harness for my project truck. It's a good solid north Texas truck. Guys from up north have probably never seen a rust free truck like we have here.

Generally, the bed, suspension, rear axle (308 non posi), various interior parts, doors, and cab are up for grabs.

I am not really excited about shipping things that won't fit in a USPS Priority Mail box. I'm rural and anything other than post office shipping is a real hassle for me. Local pickup of big stuff is of course fine with me. I'm 30 miles west of Ft Worth.

So, review the pictures and if there is anything in there that you need, let me know and I will check it out closely for damage and give you a price.

Let's keep all pricing and requests for parts in this thread rather than PMs so everyone is on board with what's going on.

Re: I'm parting out an 87 SWB in DFW Texas

Bed shows some previous repair work down low. It's not rust work and appears localized. I want to sell the bed in it's entirety rather than remove pieces from it.

Left door is dented. These are power doors. Unknown what works and what doesn't. I have no history of the truck from previous owner. When I sell doors I will pull the entire power harness from under the dash so you can convert truck to power windows and locks.

Right door is nice.

Would be interested in the Fuel lines from prop valve to brake lines and to the master cylynder.

Let me know if you are not going to use these...

Thanks,

Scott,

The column is toasted. This truck was a theft recovery impound truck and the thieves tore hell out of it.

How much for the tailgate and trim shipped to 30204...or just the tailgate band itself.

That I'm keeping with the engine stuff to put into my old truck. Sorry. I do know they are available aftermarket pretty cheap though if that will help you.

I'm using the front moldings with the clip on my truck and want to keep the bed intact to sell.

Scott, the truck was a theft recovery and they did pretty bad damage to the collars when they broke the switch out of it to steal it.

The corners are both dented pretty bad. The center piece is fairly straight with some scratches from a sander when they painted the truck in the past.

Like I said in the text, I am selling the bed in it's entirety.

Re: I'm parting out an 87 SWB in DFW Texas

temp dibs on fender emblems but would like to seem them up close.

and if the steering column up above falls through, do you have just the pieces under the steering wheel cap to make the horn work?! not the cap itself, just the spring and whatnot!

i'd love to take all the carpet off your hands, but i don't see that possible to ship!

lets see, is the passenger side kick panel speakered? if so how about for the pair? what color are the pieces on the headliner (2 long, 2 short)?

zip is 29625

Emblem pictures...They're a fair. Driver quality but not nice truck quality.

Kick panels are fair enough. The speakers are hammered though.

I want to keep the horn pieces with the steering wheel for my project truck and the headliner trim pieces are hammered. It looks like someone was locked inside of the truck with a hatchet at one time.

I could get you the kick panels and both fender emblems delivered priority 2-3 day mail for 40 dollars total. That would be without speakers. The speakers are junk.

I'm trying to sell the big pieces like that local. Shipping is such a pain on that stuff.

Wheels and tires $150 local pickup. I can round up enough center caps and beauty rings to get a full set. I want to keep the gauge cluster since the 87 model has electronic VSS speedometer to run my fuel injection swap.

Everything from transmission to frame, including the frame bracket, spring, pivot ball, bracket on trans, and main pivot bracket between frame and trans delivered for 22 dollars priority 2-3 day mail. I didn't include the long rod from column to shift bracket in that since it would complicate shipping due to it's length. If you need that piece too, let me know and we can figure out something

I'll get some close up pictures of the emblems for you tomorrow and I'll make sure the headliner pieces are in good shape. This is the only headliner picture I have right now.

The truck has a blue title. On the back, it has some signatures where it has been reassigned (like through a car lot I think). I can get you a picture of the title tomorrow if you'd like to see what I'm talking about. It looks like the liens are signed off as released though. I'd take 150 for the cab after I get all my little pieces removed from it. I want the dash stuff, wiring, firewall stuff. You'd be getting basically a bare cab.
