Different color rally's?

I been debating on what color I should paint my rally wheels as I want to try something different than silver or black. They are going on my 71 burb which is blue and white. Can anybody give me some tips and hopefully a few pics because I can't make up my mind.

Re: Different color rally's?

I think I would match the blue and have the stainless trim rings on there too.

Re: Different color rally's?

I've got some rally wheels for my Blazer sitting in my garage. The plan is to paint them the same color as the Blazer when I get that painted. With the center caps and trim rings, I think it will look really good. Olds, and maybe Buick and Pointiac, did something like that years ago with their version of rally wheels.

Re: Different color rally's?

Honestly, with your truck just the way it is they would look best in original Argent Silver. I think painting them will look like a set of wheels going down the road with an old Suburban on them. I think they would blend in and freshen up the whole look being original.

Re: Different color rally's?

Here are mine. They are kind of a charcoal grey hammer finish & of course they aren't mounted yet. I will have to see how there going to look on my orange truck. If they don't look quite right I will have them media blasted again and go the safe route and have them powder coated the original argent color.
