Newbie - Upper Radiator Bracket

Hi guys,

Another rookie error on my part! When I got my truck the PO had the shroud and radiator tied to the frame with wire, I didnt like that. So I searched around and found replacement upper mounts, thought to myself, "self" this isnt so hard, right!

Well I ordered 3 row uppers from Southern Kentucky and the rubber insert was too small. Did some more research and when I measured the core it was the size of a 4 row. Sent back the 3 row and Southern Kentucky send me the 4 row . Now the 4 row is huge and swallows my radiator !!!

If I remember correctly, my core measures 2 3/4". I dont know where to go, any ideas??

Thanks for you help, I need it!!

Sounds like your radiator isn't stock.

Welcome, BTW.

Here's a pic of the brackets installed. It seems to be a 3 core. They go over the ridge on the tank where it meets the core.
