Pics of my new burb
I have made a deal with the owner and will soon be taking her home.I need to find a good engine and trans for it,but that should not be a big deal.Hope yall enjoy Oh ya.....Im getting it for $600!
It has Arizona radio station stickers in the cab so I think it may have came from there. The interior is very nice and original. The core support has no rot and the only place i saw rust all the way thru was just behind each rear wheel. This is going to make a nice work truck for me,and the boy will love it too |

Re: Pics of my new burb
That thing is sweet! I'm jealous, I always wanted a factory blue or red 71-72 burb. Please don't tell me it also had parchment trim? Good luck with the build, I got my 72' burb out of Austin.

Re: Pics of my new burb
Definately interested in more pics! That dark tinting helped big time. Sounds like it was a Custom Deluxe with the upper and lower chrome trim and cloth interior. Very nice!

Re: Pics of my new burb
I had been pondering about using the drive train from my van,but I'm not sure how to go about getting the wiring harness outta the van.The 350 in the van is tbi and the trans is an electronically controlled 4L80e.I would love to use that trans for the 4 speed overdrive and maybe some better gas mileage.Any help or info to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.Yall be good

Re: Pics of my new burb
Monster transmissions has a $99 elect control for the trans that is a snap to install. Worst case for the engine is to put a carb on it and you will probably need an inline fuel pump as there is no mechanical boss in your engine casting. If you could use your computer, I would try to keep it fuel injected.
