headliner plastic adhesive (repair)
I've searched the net over and thought I'd found true glue,
Stuck my fingers together and "brrrrt" it broke (think of the old HeeHaw song (Thought I'd found true love and bbrrt you were gone ) Anywho, what kind of plastic is the healiner trim made of? THAT is the key to finding the correct adhesive I'm looking for. I think...

Re: headliner plastic adhesive (repair)
If your talking abot the trim around the out side I maybe able to help...
I used JB weld I scuffed the back of it with scotch bite to give it some bite then held them together applied some JB then layed another piece of plastic 2" long or so over it it would take some of the stress of the break...it has held up for the last year or so and I also my headliner is a piece of paneling covereed with headliner materail so its a bit heaver than the stock one...also a bit of liquid nail on the back to hols it to the roof helps ALOT just make up a quick T to hold it up for the night

Re: headliner plastic adhesive (repair)
I was thinking, if I could get a few pieces made up (fixed) - they could be used to make a sand casting and be poured to make aluminum replacements. Thanks for the input.

Re: headliner plastic adhesive (repair)
yea lots of work and I think a cast one would be as brittle as the plastic it would have to be made like the trim
