? about big block 4x4 headers

I am swapping a 454 into my 1969 K20. I have it sitting in the frame now and have a problem with the passenger side header. I bought Dynomax Cremacoated headers for a 67-72 big block 2wd truck (no bb trucks until 1973). The collector on the passenger side is staring right at the transfer case and I don't think there is going to be enough room to make a bend to go up over the transfer case.

Some have recommended I use the 73-87 big block 4x4 headers.

It would help me a lot if I could get some rough measurements of how far your collector hangs down (nothing precise). A measurement from the bottom of the flange at the engine to the top of you collector so I know how far they hang down would be great along with I.D. of your header manufacturer and what application they are for.
Would also be helpful to get a rough measurement from the back of the flange at the engine to the end of the collector so I know about how far back the collector is from the engine.

I'm going to post this over in the 4x4 forum too, but thought it might catch some people that don't go there if I posted it here also.

I had a problem with my old '74 Blazer with headers. I used the proper BB headers from Headman and the pass. side hung down too low for the front driveshaft to clear. It was close just sitting, but with any twisting, the driveshaft would have taken the header out. Maybe it was just the design of the header, but I don't really know. Wish I could help more.

Edit, oops I just remembered, you have a healthy lift on your truck. If I would have lifted the Blazer 4-6" the headers would have cleared fine.
