Re: Wiper arm problem
I have been messing with my wipers since i've gotten my truck and had two different wiper motors in it. It should be about 2-4inches away from the cowl. Maybe the wrong wiper motor?

I would say one of two possibilities. Either the bolts fell out on the inside (there are 3 of them) or you have a major rust problem around the mounting hole. Get a good flashlight and look at the area of the inner cowl where the wiper shaft comes through and around the wiper under the dash.... LockDoc

Yeah that would be a lot of rust.

Re: Wiper arm problem
Our trucks are known for rusting around the wiper motor. LockDoc
