front clip, doghouse, Hood and front bumper too

Located Round Rock, TX

1968 C10 front clip... (full truck for sale in truck section) if trucks sold there first the add comes down and vice versa)

Dent in drivers fender. Some surface rust. BUt I can see/detect no rust in battery area, PS fender cup, radiator support or inner fenders.

THe unit is still on the truck so unless something is found when we take it off I dont see it (rot).

500.00 OBO.

I will not be able to ship this. It will be pulled after purchase if purchased in next two weeks. I'll strip the truck first week of May and list more parts.

THis is not an invitation to place want adds. the only thing for sale currently is complete truck and or front clip.

Thanks,
Thomas

TTT. New photos coming tonight.

Please note that there is a small dent in the hood you can see part of it in this photo. Thought I took a pic but apparently I did not.

Re: front clip, doghouse, Hood and front bumper too

How about some feedback? Is the price too high, is it because I dont want to part the front clip out? is it just a POS and I'm kidding myself?

Scrap steel is up in this area, If I dont get someone interested in the clip I'll just pull it in a few weekends and haul the rest off for scrap. Store the clip for another day.

I guess that is the equal to taking my ball and going home...

WHat about any interest in the other parts... If there is something you see ask about it.... now is the time.

Re: front clip, doghouse, Hood and front bumper too

9.00 per hundred. Thats almost twice what it was last year when I scraped out three of these trucks. Trust me, I'd pull the good stuff first...

Yeah that LH fender does suck quite a bit. THe bumper although shiney does have a strange shape to it. Wonder what did that?

Right now I'd hold on the price but I might have a better fender to include. It's yellow and I think has had the turn signal filled in... I'll check and post a pic but the fender is not in this town.

Re: front clip, doghouse, Hood and front bumper too

more photos, considering throwing in the LH Yellow fender in this photo.

on one of these fenders the cup was repaired, I assume it was the RH side one.

Considering the addition of the yellow finder not 100%... stuck on price if it is included.

And if it's a short bed, I have a friend who might be interested. I'd like the front bow-tie. Might could find several things off it I needed.

Re: front clip, doghouse, Hood and front bumper too

Long bed rotted from inside out. I really dont intend to break up the front clip. If it does not sell It till go into the barn and wait for either someone to purchase it or use on another truck.

I'll have to think about the rear bumper. If I have a second one I'll sell this one, but i need to check out the other two that I know are out at the farm.

Rear bumper photo, tailgate is not avaliable.

Re: front clip, doghouse, Hood and front bumper too

I'll echo other's comments. If you want to break it up I'd be interested in the inner fender and the core support (provided it isn't rusted). I think I emailed you via clist too.

I didn't want to part out a parts truck that I bought either, it's a hassle. However I did, and I still have most of a front clip, two buckets of small parts, doors, and a few more odds and ends and I am $50 from breaking even after pulling the bed/hood/cowl/grill from it...

Thanks Tyler,

I dont know what I am going to do with this thing. I had it sold (front clip) a few months back then my brother decided he wanted it for his son's truck. Now his son wants a newer ford with power steering and A/C... KIDS!!!!

So its back to selling or storing. Id rather part with it and I see the clip as the only real value. Sure parting it out could get me more over time but I seriously think next weekend about rolling it into the garage pulling clip, engine and trans and a few other parts then Monday the 25th rolling it across the scales.

I need to reduce my inventory by at least four vehicles. Trying to get four gone here on this site and I'll start trying with my mustangs on another site and the MG back on craigs list. Somethings got to sell or something else will roll across the scales... WHats funny is I hate it when people say that on somehting that I'm interested in but I can totally understand why they say it and your right... I dont want the hassle of parting a complete truck out. If it was my only job perhaps but I just dont have the time.

Thanks for the thoughts.

I do believe you did email me. Was yours the one that said "Looking"? adds on CL get so much spam if the reply does not have something on it related to my exact add I do not reply.

Re: front clip, doghouse, Hood and front bumper too

I just found out I'm loosing my storage. The place where I keep my truck and trailer wants to put in another horse pasture on the side of the barn I use. Free storage for four years not too bad... WHat is bad is the timing. Who will nake me an offoer on the whole truck, truck as she sits? I/ll even leave the 12-15 rims in the bed for extra weigh at the scales.

If she does not sell I'll have to take it back to the farm.

Sorry, I dont want to part out the front clip right now. Whole truck or front clip. Or if you are interested in other parts just let me know.

Re: front clip, doghouse, Hood and front bumper too

Here is the deal... Sunday, I am going to pull the front clip, the engine transmission and cab. ON Monday the frame and bed go to the scrap yard.

Jack, I'll pull the rear bumper also and connect with you on it later. I'll be stripping the cab down at a later date and I'll decide what to pust on it later.

Once clip is pulled I'll have to take it back to the farm over easter weekend and i'll pull it off the market.

Thanks,
THomas
