before my time unilugs

HI, again it's me with a stupid question..

I have a set of new cragar SS and a set of western wheel daisy's (somewhat like torquethrust "d")
both are unilug.. both are 8"
I know you need a washer and lug nut.
how do you figure out what you need, type/size/etc

You got a pic of the wheels. I've got some old washers and lugs kickin' around. With a pic I could do some matching up for you.

lots of te unilug wheels were fo 5X4.5 and 5X4.75 not included were 5X5 on alot of them
lugnuts required were normally the shank type lugnuts

Stich, Your cragars and daisies both use a shank type lug nut with a regular washer. The shank can't be any longer that the wheel is deep. I think most shanks were 5/8 in dia. and the lengths varied. There were two types of washers. ETs and keystone took the elongated washers. Yours will use just use regular washers and they should come with the lug nuts.

My ET Slots from the 60's are Uni-lug. I have the "washers" with the holes on the outward side. They fit my truck fine. Not sure about the Cragars or Westerns...

I will tell you this... If you ever go to a shop of any kind to have work done where they remove a wheel... MAKE SURE YOU WATCH THE DING DONGS REINSTALL THE WHEEL!!! I had 2 lug nuts snapped off at a tire shop because the kid reinstalled 2 of the washers that fell out (and they do) inboard instead of outboard and snapped off the studs reefing on the lug nuts. He was lucky he didn't damage the wheel.

Here's the ones I've got.
Top one is for et type wheels.
Bottom one is for cragar type multi-fit. Offset washer for in tight to the hub.

You can flip the ET uni-lug washers backwards and use a longer shoulder lug nut. That's what I did with mine.
