I Know I Know,,just Thought Yall Would Like To See My 57
I KNOW THIS IS A TRUCK BOARD, BUT IF YOU LIKE THESE TRUCKS YOU MORE THAN LIKLEY LOVE THESE CARS, THIS IS THAT LILLTLE OLD LADYS CAR YOU ALWAYS HERE ABOUT, I BOUGHT THIS CAR OVER THE SUMMER. IT IS A 1 OWNER 57 2 DRHRDTOP BEL AIR, SPRT COUPE, FACTORY SUNVISOR WITH A EXTREMELY RARE DEALER INSTALLED 56 HOOD BIRD, 80,000 ORIGINAL MILES , I HAE THE ORIGINAL TITLE ,ORIGINAL BILL OF SALE , IT WAS BOUGHT NEW NOV 6TH OF 1956 FOR RIGHT AROUND 2300 RIGHT HERE IN MY HOME TOWN OF SHELBYVILLE,IT STILL HAS THE DEALER KEYCHAIN ON IT, THE PHONE NUMBER ON THE LEATHER KEYCHAIN IS #231,, HA HA H A, IT ALSO HAS ALL THE MANUALS INCLUDING A COUPLE 57 DEALER MANUALS, IT ALSO HAS THE PROMOTIONAL CAR CARE KIT FROM 57 IN THE GLOVEBOX AND THE DEALERSHIP PROMOTIONAL 1957 CHEVY YARDSTICK IN THE BACKSEAT, I JUST REMOVED THE SEAT COVERS SHE HAD THE DEALER PUT ON THE ITHER DAY, THE CAR WAS NUMBER 2046 TO ROLL OUT OF THE ST LOUIS PLANT, IT HAS A 283 2BBL WITH A 2SPD POWER GLIDE, BY THE WAY IF ANY OF YOU COULD POSSIBLY GIVE ME AN IDEA OF WHAT YOU THINK THIS CAR MIGHT BE WORTH IT WOULD HELP OUT ALOT, I HAVE BOUGHT A FEW OF THESE CARS AND SOLD A FEW, BUT I HAVE NEVER HAD ONE WITH THIS DOCUMENTATION OR BEING IN SURVIVOR CONDITION AND ESPECIALLY NEVER SEEN ONE WITHTHE 56 HOOD BIRD AND FACTORY SUNVISOR, BY THE WAY THIS CAR HAS BEEN IN STORAGE SINCE THE MID 70'S IF I REMEMBER RIGHT

HEY THAMKS RUSTY,, I DONT THINK THERE ARE MANY MORE THAN A HANDFUL OF 57'S WITH THIS KIND OF DOCUMENTATION AND HISTORY LEFT,YOUD BE CALLING ME WAY MORE THAN WHAT YOU DID IF YOU KNEW WHAT I PAID FOR IT,,IF YA EVER SEE HARDROCK 2 IN HERE HE IS THE ONLY OTHER ONE THAT KNOWS WHAT I PAID ,, HE WAS THERE WITH ME LOADING IT ,,WE PUT THIS LADYS 1 OWNER 48 CADILLAC ON HIS TRAILER AND TOOK IT TO FT LAUDERDALE, IT WAS IN BETTER SHAPE THAN THE 57 WHEN WE PULLED IT OUT,, HELL WE DROVE THE CADDY ONTO THE TRAILER,, HA HA HA

That has to be the longest run-on sentence I've seen in along time!
That is a sweet find, depending on what you paid, you lucked out! In this area, a car in that condition would easily go for $7500-$10,000 if not more.

Yeah, do me a favor and don't tell me how much!!! I don't wanna start crying. lol I always wanted an old lady owned 57. My next project after I finish my truck will be a belair 57. I know everyone has been there done that, but I just always wanted a light blue 2dr. The cleanest one I've ever seen belong to some punk kid who used to drive it drunk and scratch it all up. I'm all about enjoying my ride, but it was a crime to see him treat my dream car that way. Anyway, I hope your not planning on changing anything on it. It's your car, but I'd hate to see that beaut chopped up or hot rodded. It's just to dang nice. Oh yeah, and nice copilot by the way. Mine just hit the 8 month old mark, and all I keep hearing is they grow up fast!!!! Kids are the coolest!!
