need advice on lowering a 1 ton
who makes a good inexpensive kit to lower a 79 single wheel 1 ton about 4" front & rear? I pull a 32 foot trailer quite often so I dont want it too low but I'm tired of the 4X4 look on my 4X2. I shocks are not inclueded with these kits please give me an idea of some shocks too.
Thank you! |

well i used there shocks on my 1/2 ton, but i think you'd need something more heavy duty on your 1 ton. i'd call them up and see what they suggest or if they have some that will work on a 1 ton. but there kits are real good, there are quite a few of us that have used theri parts.

Re: MOTHERTRUCKERS
I have been to your site before but it said you dont deal with anything newer than 72'. I talked to another guy that has 72' & older parts for my truck at a show. He is in Arizona & I thought I would give him my business & I might recieve better service from a local guy. He was rude & said, I have 72 & older parts, your truck is a 79', is 79' older than 72'? Now, I can count ok & know the basic order of numbers. I also know he could get me anything I want. He was rude & now when I start building my older truck we will not get a penny from me. I thank you for your offer & I will get a list of part #'s & e-mail you for a quote. I have decided to do business with people that really want new customers.
Thank you! |

Our main business is 47-72 in our parts and restorations but lately people are calling for later Chevy & GMC parts and a lot of companies we deal with have 47-02 parts available. We have an 80 GMC step side in our shop for paint, interior and a custom wood bed right now.

Re: MOTHERTRUCKERS
how wierd, I work about 1/4 mile from Sport Direct & did not know they were there. Can you get me a better price than if I am just an average idiot walking in thier front door? (I consider myself an "average idiot"). Thanks
