Gear drives...
Well im gonna get a gear drive for my 350.. My parts gy has one in his 65 chevelle conv. man it souds wicked.

You either love em or hate em. Personally they grate on me after awhile, I must be getting old. I'd really like a belt drive just can't justify the cost.Good Luck....Stroker

we just ordered new belt from Jessel for our drag car, man, thats bad enough, not ch compared to a whole setup but still, it was $70 I think just for a belt

I wouldnt get a gear drive, they transfer the harmonics from the crankshaft to the valve train and cause everything to wear out quickly or break

I ran one in a 283. It was cool for about two weeks, then it got old. The noise was driving me crazy on the interstates. Get a quiet one, they are still noisey but not near as bad.

The gear drives sound cool, but I think they will rob you of some power (more friction than a timing chain) Just my$.02 worth.....
