mirror swap question
My burb has the tri-pod mirror and I would like to swap to the other models(not sure what to call them) but the have a three bolts triangulated holding them to the door. How do these mirrors bolt on, will I need to mod my doors other than drilling holes? Any advice is appreciated.

Re: mirror swap question
There is a metal 'plate' that goes on the inside of the door. The plate has 3 threaded holes (nuts maybe, I can't remember at the moment) that the screws thread into. I will have to dig my old ones out to find out exactly what it is. When I tore mine off for my resto project they were both damaged and I had to drill out the heads of the screws to get the mirrors off, so all I remember is that I had to make or find some new ones.
