Re: Crew Cab rocker panels

LMC has the crew cab rocker panels.

http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cc/full.aspx?Page=27

A lot of people say not to buy from LMC but I bought a rocker panel from them last week and it was fine. The only problem I had was they never did email me that my shipment went out till after I had got the part. I was going to get one of the crew cab rocker panels, but decided i didnt need the whole panel so I just bought one for a regular cab.

Btw, I like the crew cab you picked up, is it a auto or manual?

Matt

Re: Crew Cab rocker panels

The one I got is a manual. It will either get a 700r4/np205 or I will just do a Cummins or Duramax and overdrive auto trans. I kinda like the 6.2 though. I have heard so many bad stories about LMC parts I am kinda afraid to use them. I want the entire rocker for both sides!

Re: Crew Cab rocker panels

Ive got a 6.2 for my truck but have yet to fire it up. Cant wait to see what it does. I have never seen the whole rocker. That is the only crew cab rocker I have seen.

Re: Crew Cab rocker panels

My buddy ordered a bunch of parts for his blazer and recieved them 2 days later. I have had nothing but good experiences with them.

Re: Crew Cab rocker panels

LMC is great, not sure why so many dislike them... Only thing about them is that they are generally a little pricier than some of the competition, but from what I have seen from them it's all really high quality stuff.

Re: Crew Cab rocker panels

Well I ran into the same problem when I put them on my dually. There are a full length slip on rocker that in my opinion look like crap. The front rockers are the same as a regular cab truck. The rears are a little more complicated because I havnt been able to find the correct one. The rear part is the same as the regular cab, but the front part is compleatly different. So the only thing I could do was cut the old one along the flat part that would be hidden by the door and weld it together. I was lucky that my rockers wernt TOO bad that I could do that. Actually I didnt know they were that thin till I started sanding the truck down. Just another note that the cab corners are the same on crew cab to regular cab too if you needed them.

Re: Crew Cab rocker panels

I definitely don't want the slip on style. Looks like I can just buy four regular cab rockers and go to town...
