Nut plate for door hinge on cab

The nut plate for the door hinge on the cab fell down inside when I removed the door from the cab. Anyone had this happen and how do I go about fixing it?

wow I thought those stayed on there pretty well. I Have taken a few doors off before and never had them fall down.

Have you tried to access it through the vent down below the dash? I think thats where it would have fallen down into.
