New classic dash and gauges installed last weekend.
Here's a pic of the new Classic Dash and Autometer Phantom gauges I installed in my 72 GMC Super Custom 1500 last weekend. FYI, Autometer says that the tach is set to run on "most v8's". Tach was reading really low for me after I installed it. After calling Autometer tech line they told me that the LS motors use a 2 pulse tach signal. So, I had to pull the tach and set the dip switch to 2 pulse/4 cylinder. Now it works right. I had the old LS 6.0 up to 5K today.

Looks good and good to know. Love the color, looks like it matches the dash.

Re: New classic dash and gauges installed last weekend.
Thanks!! Interior cab color is green though, and the dashpad is tan. I'm doing the green/tan combo. Will probably paint the Classic Dash tan, eventually.
Here's a before pic.
