Re: small window two tones

That is my type of truck Cooper33. Built to be functional, stepside, side mount spare and barden rear bumper, ride height and of course stock steel wheels and hubcaps. The main difference on 67's is the top of door is painted body color, not white.

Re: small window two tones

Thanks Factorystock, it was my granddad's, he bought new in 67 and was a cattle hauler in a small country town here in Texas. He had a 1/4" sheet of diamond plate steel put over the wood bed. I want to pull it out and check the condition of the wood underneath. My dad put on some aftermarket side mirrors, am/fm radio (still have originals) and screwed in some hooks to the bed for tie-downs when we used it for roofing back in the 80's. Other than oil changes and one new set of tires, it's all original with 49k miles. :-)

The original owner of my '67 put a 3/16 steel plate down when he bought the truck. Here's what I found when I pulled it up. (Sorry for the thread hijack - we now return to the originally scheduled programming).

Re: small window two tones

I went with the Raised Crossmember from Suicide Doors, mostly because they had a deal going when they first released it, I bought it on a preorder and save about $500. Does the same thing, a little different construction. If it had not been for the price difference, i would have just gone with a Dropmember, as Nate's customer service and knowledge are second to none when it comes to these trucks. I highly reccomend one to anyone that wants to get their truck on the ground and be able to cruise low, as I can make a left or right turn through an intersection and be an inch or less off the ground. I was cruising in down at Showfest, and knew it was riding low, but did not realise how low I was till I changed lanes and started hitting the reflectors in the middle of the road lol
