Need sm465 measurements

I need the width, height, and length of the transmission, I'm looking at making a cradle to lower it out of the truck.
Thanks guys.

Re: Need sm465 measurements

H 18" (to the top of the shift tower, shifter removed)
L 15" (case only)
W 6" across the bottom of the case
W 12" across the webbing 1/2way up

Add a total of 9.75" to the length for the input shaft and output yoke.

I have one sitting on an x-cradle that seems to work pretty well. I'd take a pic, but the camera was washed and dried last week.

Probably most important, it weighs something like 175#. Go slow.

Probably 15 years ago, I built that same cradle for the floor jack. 1.5" angle and 1/2" all-thread as jack screws so that I could solidly lock onto the case. I finally threw it out after two house moves and zero transmission removals.
