Hey, I'm all for mix and match projects....helps keep thing interesting. I'm going to put an Olds 350 in my Chevy truck, and if I can't find a good Pontiac 455 for my '79 Z28, it is likely to get the Ford 429 I have sitting in my buddy's garage..... I really dig where your head is at. It'll be cool to see this one come together.

Re: if you dont like amc --mixing ford and chevy this thread is not for you

i wanted the open wheel look i wasnt gonan have a hood, but the 4.6 is ugly to look at so i got a hood and it hits on the eges of the tires so i thought it would look cool to cut it up, i need to make it flip forward --ill weld some metal in to put a edge on it to make it look more finished---this will def be different thats for sure

Cool, I had a feeling you were going to say that, I just wanted to be sure. Nice progress so far and I'm sure it will be a slick ride when you get her all done.
