Door Panel/Door question

Some of the nuts that are spot welded in the doors to hold the door panel on are missing. A PO had drilled holes in the panel and door in other spots. I wanna put the screws in the right place again. Has anyone come across this and how did you fix it? I have some of my own ideas but am looking for some others

Re: Door Panel/Door question

Wes at classic heartbeat has these capture nuts that are used in doors ,if they will work in the 72 door clip holes. I think this size nut fits the armrest and door panel holes.
