Re: New guy

from the Heart of Arkansas!! BTW, we've got some humidity that we can spare...do you live on the west or east side of the Cascades? If you're west, you probably have all you want....

Oh, your truck project and money....they'll agree with each other, but you may get some heartburn from time to time.

Good Luck!!

I really dig the orange and white. I've wanted that paint scheme for a while.

Re: New guy

Welcome from North Texas!!

I agree with everyone else, very nice truck. It has a ton of potential. Even better that it was your dads truck and the both of you know its history.

I wish you the best for your build!

Re: New guy

I am removing the side tanks. Does anybody know if they are stock? They hang down a good six inches below the bottom of the box and are really ugly. I am removing them either way, there are rubber fuel lines running all over under there, looks like a fire ball waiting to happen.

Re: New guy

No side tanks were stock on these trucks. If it had an auxillary tank, then that could be one of them, but I don't think but one is an aux. tank.

Does it have fuel doors on the side of the bed, or within the rear wheel well? Looks like I see the edge of one on the passenger side.
