Re: Garage Cleaning

If the carb hasn't been exposed to rain or floods, I'll take it. I've had bad luck with carbs that got filled with water. Frank

Re: Garage Cleaning

I do not understand how you came up with the shock combo and had them on a ranger but here is the correct application for the two.

Re: Garage Cleaning

Frank -

The carb has not been in the rain or flood. It has been sitting on a shelf in my garage for about 2 years, so it is showing a little oxidation. The carb had just been rebuilt by PO, but gas would seep from it while the engine was running. That's why I indicated that it needs a rebuild. It might only need a new needle and seat(?) Otherwise it is very clean.

Let me know if you want it.

Thanks,

Wayne (NoNeck)

I'll take it. Shipping will be to 94559. Let me know how much and how to pay. Frank

P.S. If you could let me know what numbers are on the carb it would help me get a kit for it before it gets here. Parts store doesn't care what it came off of. They just want numbers.

Re: Garage Cleaning

PT -

Thanks for the info!

I always thought this was a strange combination of shocks for my 2008 Ranger, too. They were cataloged for the rear of my truck. The one for the Passenger Side needed to be 21" long (DJM2100) because of the way the shock attached to the frame(?). Supposedly it needed a longer shock on that side... even though the factory original shocks that I removed were the exact same length. The Driver Side shock was 19" long (DJM1900).

Basically, I changed them to Monroes for a softer ride.

Re: Garage Cleaning

No problem, the good thing is the 2100 is the correct application for a 68-87.

Todd -

The bezel has very minor surface scratches and a small dent as shown circled in the photo below. I have included a photo of the back, also.

I have sent you a PM with PayPal and shipping quote.

Thanks,
