I'll just go to the Cabela's in Owatonna,MN and pretend to meet you guys.
OT: I saw TWO DIFFERENT (I don't normally see ANY) 67-72s around StPaul actually doing work yesterday , one was a (chev68?lwb) green cab, blue front clip, and white bed. It was haulin stuff too..... the other was brown (chev69-70swb), and in AMAZING shape, either that or completely restored (I think it was just taken care of)... |

Seke69, we'll be in the waterfowl dept. blowing duck calls at 12:15. Let me know if you can hear us. ( I have the grandson today and he likes to do that. You didn't think I was going to stand around a crowded store and blow calls did you? ) You buying this?

Also OT, I went to Vegas last week on very short notice. Had to come home Monday and pack for an early Tuesday flight.
Driving past a house down the road, I noticed a cab on a trailer. Funny how you can see these things around corners, behind stuff, under stuff and know right away what it is. Anyway, I stopped and it was a GMC cab. Red/white. He had it wedged into a trailer with side rails and it was stuck. I asked what he was doing with it and he said scrapping it. I walked over to look and it was filled with scrap steel to the dash. The fenders were perfect. It had tinted glass all around. I talked him out of the glass and stainless deluxe trim front and rear. I counted about 6 options that I could see. Headliner, A/C, steering, disc brakes, radio, chrome wings, tinted glass. All but the glass went to the crusher. Was a 2500 also. Makes me sick I could not get there sooner.

I was thinking of looking at some fly-rod setups. I'll be testing them in the store... on people. maybe I can perfect the double-haul and put a welt on someone's butt-cheek...............
either that or you'll see me riding off into the sunset on a stuffed moose giddyup Bullwinkle! |
