On a 70 chevy with power brake was the booster originaly black or gold cadium plated ? Also the mounting bracket ?

this is just a suggestion that has worked well on my 72. i used some silver por 15 and it looks great. again just a suggestion... my 72 is a work truck but like i said it's worked well.

Moraine Delco boosters were cad. Bendix boosters were black. Which do you have?

It is stamped on the front moraine delco

What about the bracket the booster bolts to ??

I think the brackets are supposed to be black...not 100% sure though.

I have a Bendix booster on my truck, painted black, so I painted the brackets gold cad to contrast. I think it looks fantastic, but not sure if it is "correct" or not.

Others will chime in to confirm or deny this.

Thats where i am confused the booster is black ( my have been painted ) and the bracket looks like it was gold cad ??
