Horsepower/Torque

Have a question for everyone to give me they idea of how much horsepower and torque my combination will make. Once it is built and broke in I am gonig to have it dynoed for the hell of it to see what it does then I will post the results and we can see who got closest.

350 bored .040 over
Flat Top Pistons
Comp Cam High Energy 268/268 Duration .454/.454 Lift
Edelbrock E-Street 64CC Aluminum Heads
Compression about 9.3-1
Edelbrock EPS Aluminum Intake
1.5 Roller Rockers
600 CFM Edelbrock Carb

I am building it for low to mid range torque and was just wondering what everyone was thinking it is going to make? Lets calculate both flywheel horsepower and wheel horsepower

Re: Horsepower/Torque

I am just taking this off the top of my head but I am guessing around 345rwhp.

Of course I could be way wrong but each engine is different.

Good luck.

Re: Horsepower/Torque

I really have NFC, other than to say, a heck of a lot more than mine does!! (original '72 350 w/ 250K+ mi. and still going...pretty strong I'd say)

But just for giggles, put me down for 318hp @ the crank, and 260 on the whp.

Talking Re: Horsepower/Torque

just to help you make up your mind how to build your motor ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

HORSEPOWER = HOW FAST YOU HIT THE WALL !

TORQUE = HOW FAR YOU MOVE THE WALL WHEN YOU HIT IT !

Exhaust:

And if you want 1/8 or 1/4 mile times, this info is also needed:
