I am so tired of replacing these things every other time I have to take the door panel off.............*%#$$%
Is there anything else out there that you folks have used to replace them besides GM Plastic?

If you get the billet door strip pieces, they come with little billet things to cover the strap ends.

All mine only have one leg If they keep coming off, take them off & tighten the strap screws down TIGHT. I take them off/on no problem. Is someone being too rough with them?

Tyler,
I know what you mean by one-legged!
I am more careful taking these things off than I am when defusing a bomb.LOL
Could be little green men doing it when I am not looking but then I would have to ask how they got around the alarm
Thanks for the reply,
BTW: We want A/C updates when you have them.
You could get some Krylon and paint your truck white and then you wouldn't need A/C!!!! LOLOLOL

Nope, fresh out of little green men in this galaxy!!LOL
Black is my favorite too by far.......though I don't think I would want one in black 'cause I spend too much time in desert areas.
Know what I mean?!?

well you could do like i did, i just did away with the strap and got some material that matched my interior and recovered that part of the door panel to cover up the holes. it looks cleaner, and like you said i got tired of seeing those broken things.

Thanks for that idea. It sounds like a good one.
I guess I am too use to the pull strap to lose it that way.
