Truck Shop vs LMC ??

Anyone who has used parts from both companies please share your input. I am about to order some new metal, ie; iner and outer rockers, cab corners and cab mounts. I am leaning toward truckshop because they are cheaper but if there quality is not as good then lower price is irrellevant. My body man is leaning towards LMC because he has never used truckshop. Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge,
John

Re: Truck Shop vs LMC ??

I'd go with Truck Shop over LMC,but I'd lean towards a site supporting vendor nearest to you to save on shipping. There is a list of vendors on the first page here. What you want to look for are parts made by Tri Plus. The only reason your body man is more familiar with LMC is the stuff their catalogs in more mailboxes. They are stupid high on shipping and you'll never get an answer to who actually made the part.

Since I live in LA, The TruckShop is all of 30 minutes from me. I have bought stuff from CPP and Classic Industries, and I have to say the attitudes I got at Truck Shop will keep me away from them forever. If LMC is the only place left in the world I would buy from them before I had to go back.

If this was just one occasion I would have dismissed it. My advice, if LMC is better on shipping, closer to where you live or even another vendor go with them. A lot of these places sale each others parts.
Truck Shop sells CPP parts and so does Classic Industries.

I have picked up body parts from Clas Ind and from Truck Shop, and cant tell the difference in the parts as for metal thickness or quality.
Does anyone know about body parts from Goodmark?
