Rally Wheels

Anybody know of a good source to pickup a couple 15"x10" 5-Lug rally wheels? I know of few places that I can get them from but they run in the $100 + shipping range each. Don't really feel like dropping a couple hundred bucks + on 2 plain steel wheels! Were these ever originally produced from the factory? I've found plenty of 15"x10" but they're all 6 lugs. Thanks!

Re: Rally Wheels

Factory never made 15x10, 15x8 was the max wheel size for ralleys of 5 or 6 lug. I want to switch my facvtories to the 10" wide eventually, but I am like you...that shipping is a killer to me taking action.

Re: Rally Wheels

Yeah, I already have a set of 8" all the way around... I just want a pair of 10" for the rear in order to put some real meat in the rear to fill up those fenderwells!

Re: Rally Wheels

Hate to say it, but unless you find some second hand your going to shell out a couple of c-notes for what you want. I got mine from wheel vintiques for $121 each plus shipping. $300 total.

Yeah, I know... just haven't accepted reality yet. Haha.. Hey, just curious what backspacing did you go with... 4.5" or 5"? Also, what size tires...? I'm still undecided because I plan to have them tucked in the fenders eventually. Thanks!

I got 15x10 with 5in back space and 295/50/15 tires. The clearance is 1in on the inside and 1/4in on the outside. Thanks for covering for me Brandon. LOL

Re: Rally Wheels

I'm going to answer for John since he isn't here right now. I got my info from him when I bought my 10" rallies. They are 5" backspacing. There seem to be some things that change the way they fit on different trucks.

John and I both have 295/50/15's but he has about 1/8" clearance between the tire and fender lip and mine are just even with the fender lip. I am going to do a tiny bit of clearancing because I am pretty much tucking tire. The only difference we can come up with is I have a 12 bolt rear end and he has a 10. Either way, the amount of trimming I have to do on the fender lip is no big deal. Hope this helps!

Re: Rally Wheels

Thanks for the info and the pics! The 295/50 on 10" rallys is the combo I'm leaning toward, but just wanted to check around with other same setup to check out the clearance issue with the tuck. So it sounds like the 5" backspacing is a must to keep these tires inside the fenders... Thanks again for the info!

Thanks! I can't take credit for alot of the work on this truck, it was in great shape when I bought it a year ago. Most of the work I've done so far is cleaning up under the hood (bigblock 454) and chassis work. It's been a fun ride so far.

Re: Rally Wheels

Dont know if this helps but a buddy of mine sent a pair of 15x8 truck rallys to Stockton wheel in Stockton,CA and had them widened to 15x10. He did it years ago so I have no idea how much it cost but he`s got a 295/50/15 on there on the back of his 76 stepside.
