WIW - 67/68 Rust Free Hood
Just checking to see what a rust free 67/68 hood is going for these days. I have located one that has a few dents on it, but other than that it is solid.
Thanks! Nate

Re: WIW - 67/68 Rust Free Hood
I'd say more like $250 and up if it's even better. Look what a Taiwan hood costs and how the hoods are more often than not rusted in the front lip. Maybe it's just regions, but from what I've seen that rust is common in must regions. if you're somewhere that they don't rust then hood, for the most part, aren't in high demand and I'd say more like $100-150 then.

Re: WIW - 67/68 Rust Free Hood
Thanks Tim... sometimes I hate to put the price high to test the waters but on a lot of these parts it really depends on your region as in our area, everything has rust.
Unfortunately shipping large items also plays into it as well, so it's a win-lose-draw situation.

Re: WIW - 67/68 Rust Free Hood
I think if you don't mind the dents , or you can fix them , then $125 - $150 is a fair price . IMO

Re: WIW - 67/68 Rust Free Hood
Thanks buddy!
OEM sheetmetal (rust free) is getting tougher to track down so I think I have an idea now.

Re: WIW - 67/68 Rust Free Hood
so a 67 hood here in california should cost more? I think i need a clean(er) 67 hood as my 68 hood has some repairs and dings present. What should i expect to pay in So Cal?
Tim

Re: WIW - 67/68 Rust Free Hood
actually...they shouldn't cost as much because they should be a little more abundant and rust free
