1986 C10 High Beam/Wiper
Hey I have an 85 C10 2wd
I have the side cover to the column off at the moment but everytime I put it back on and put the plastic piece in for the high beams to work, it hits the long rod that runs through my column and grounds out and makes my wiper blades go crazy. So is the long metal rod that runs from the switch on the base of the column for you high beams supposed to be on the "inside" of the column or on the "outside"? Sorry if that seems unclear I should have been asleep like 3 hours ago haha -Adam |

Re: 1986 C10 High Beam/Wiper
bump, if your looking from the side of the column that the tilt handle is on, with the side cover off,
their is an arrow shaped cut away, where you can see the high beam rod, I just made the rod sit on the inside of that cut away, and now it is stuck there, and theirs a small circle spring that would be in the way of the rod anyway... are we sure not under the cover, but outside the metal arrow cutaway, and if it is... how don't I make the wipers go nuts |
