Will a 31x12.5-15 tire fit in the back fenderwell with a 2.5/4" drop?

Will these tires fit under the rear stock fenderwell of my '81 with a 2.5/4" drop?

13.4" section width is cutting it pretty close!!! I'm running a 15x10 with a 5.5" backspacing.

Tire Size 31 x 12.50-15
Wheel Diameter 15 in.
Sidewall Style Tire Diameter 30.50 in.
Section Width 13.40 in.
Tread Width 10.30 in.
Minimum Recommended Wheel Width 8.50 in.
Maximum Recommended Wheel Width 11.00 in.
Speed Rating H

I can't say for certain other than its going to be very close. Mine has some 29/9.50/15's as rollers on an 8" rim with a five inch drop and they are a tight fit. I can see 10.5's barely fitting, but not so sure about 12.5's. Hopefully someone can provide better results for you.

Re: Will a 31x12.5-15 tire fit in the back fenderwell with a 2.5/4" drop?

I know some guys are running the 315/60-15 with a 12.9 section width without having to trim anything under the fenderwell.

I guess no one else has tried the 31x12.5-15 with 13.4" section width. I'm thinking it might fit.

It wouldn't definently be the biggest street legal tire you could fit on a 15x10 under a stock fenderwell.

Here are clearance pictures of a 295/50/15 with a 12.17 in section width. The tire I want to run will be 1.23" wider than these.

Those pics you posted are of my truck, if it helps you any, my wheels are 15x10 with 5in backspace and 295/50/15 tires.
