55 front fender mounting

Looking for pictures or a source for the attach hardware to bolt the lower part of my front fender by the door. Previous owner decided to weld the fender to the sill for some strange reason and I need to reattach it properly. Not having any luck with google or the parts places.

You can weld a flat plate with a nut on the inside to bolt it to the cab. What does the lower cab pillar look like, The part that fender bolts to?

Re: 55 front fender mounting

There is supposed to be a capture nut in the square hole location. A bolt runs thru a rubber grommet in the frame tab (see photo below) to the captured nut. It can be shimmed to align with the door and cab sill. I don't have a photo of the inside of my fenders.

Re: 55 front fender mounting

There is no problem with the cab side only missing what is suppose to be on the fender.
