84' Blazer rear window regulator
I am having alot of trouble finding a manual rear window regulator for the blazer. My last one the teeth were strip out on it, so I started to look for another one and can only find powered rear window regulators. I checked the local junkyards and have not had any luck. Looks like LMC used to sell the manual one but now it looks like they only offer the powered one. Any ideas?
thanks

Re: 84' Blazer rear window regulator
I had to buy an entire tailgate from a salvage to get the regulator when I had my 79. It was only $150, but still had to take the entire thing even though the handle was broken and the tailgate itself was junk. Those tailgate guts are very expensive, I know first hand, been there done that. I think I spent as much getting my glass to go up and down as I did what I paid for the K5.
*edit* I should add, you won't find the stuff at any pull a parts. Crack open the phone book and start finding salvages that mention GM products or even better, classic parts. Start calling and looking and see if they can at least point you to another salvage yard. Took me about 3 days to track one down and I deal with salvage yards every day. Found it in some mom and pop yard a few towns away.
