school sale part 2 the homecoming and pics
For those of you that remember my post a couple weeks ago about the local district having a sealed bid auction that were wanting pics if I won well guess what Winner! I was notified by the school super last friday and the ad said I had 30 days to pay out and get my truck, I was in no hurry but I went today to bring it home [to my body shop]. Well ,after a boost off I drove this bad boy to the shop the shifter hung up on me right after a stoplight and had trouble getting into second but once I did and got it to go on all was smooth. After a little cleanup I discovered that the layer of oil and dirt in the bed floor helped to preserve it . It may be the straightest part of the truck! I know you all want pics so we will try

Re: school sale part 2 the homecoming and pics
Well, the trim is almost all bad and the boxes were taken out . The rims are to be changed next week when I go back to work. So the thing that ya'll like most about my latest truck is bent or to be removed. Figures, that is the way it goes for me. Plans for the truck include wheels, disc upgrade [staying 6 lug] power steering and brakes. T-5 5 speed. In the piantbooth I have a tilt column that I primed yesterday with high-build in preperation for paint , that has been shaved so it has a smooth bowl. Colors back to the orginal red and white scheme. HEI and 4bbl upgrade and maybe a serpintine front drive conversion[I have several laying around]. I plan on doing this faily cheaply as I have most of this stuff on hand already. Any thoughts or connents to add? C'mon with them!

Thanks, I must be crazy or stupid but this makes three that I have working on at least two at once, along with the normal wrecks Ibuild in my shop. What did you do about the alternator on your serpintine conversion?

MADD sells a wiring conversion for the late model cs type alternators.
