wheel size question
anyone know are wheel sizes actual? I ordered a set of wheels 15x7 for the 62 they say 15x7 on the box, when i measure the width its 8in is this correct or should they be 7in? thanks dudes

It's correct. 7" is measured from the bead surface to bead surface. Usually if you measure total rim width minus 1" equals the advertised rim width.

That's actually an important measurement to take into account when fitting wheels, etc. The width of the wheel is indeed the inside or bead mount to bead mount dimension, which means the overall width outside lip to outside lip is often an entire 1" wider.

True, and because the rim width (where the bead seats) affects the section width of the tire the true overall width of the wheel must be accounted for.
