Question Front airbag position?

I have a 74 C10 that has DJM lowing arms on it. We are putting air bags in the front for a little adjustability with the ride height. I know guys on here don't like the drop lower control arms. We have installed the spring pocket plate and moved the bag as far forward on the plate as possible. With the lower bag cup where we want it on the lower control arm the bag is not perfectly vertical. My question is, Does the bag need to be perfectly vertical if its not rubbing on anything in its complete travel? Thank you.

Re: Front airbag position?

I do not think any of them are perfectly straight throughout their full range of motion, take a look at the bag at ride height, that is where it should be the straightest, as it extends it can live with a little deflection, and when it is dumped the bag of course does not care as long as it is not rubbing anything.
