A Few From A Show
Here in Maryland, the last Saturday of October,at the National Guard Armory in Annapolis we have a show called Jalopyrama. This was the eighth year and getting better every year. It was derived to focus on the roots of the rod & custom era up through the '60s,although any rod or custom through '67 is welcome.
Here are a few '47 and earlier haulers that were there:

Re: A Few From A Show
What is the flat black delivery? My dad has a couple 35 Ford tudors that look a little like that. I would guess thats a few years newer like a 37 or something? Nice cars...

Re: A Few From A Show
Yep,you hit the nail on the head. That'd be a '37. The '36 grille didn't wrap around. They don't have that bodyline off the fender across the door and two long horizontal vents on the hood side panels. The '38 grilles wrap back to over and under the headlight mount. The hood side panels have three chrome strips with 22 vents.
I have a '36 Sedan picture and a '38 Sedan Delivery:

Re: A Few From A Show
That sure has style. He has the best of both worlds. Why decide stock or street rod? Have both!

Re: A Few From A Show
If you look on my profile there is a picture of my dad's 35... He has that one thats pretty much all original with the flat-head. He also has a streetrod version with a SB chevy in it.
