Kingparts(King Restoration Services) closing
I just wanted to let everybody know that it looks like we will no longer be selling parts. I have been talking with Tim Christian and he will be taking over our website and buying all of the parts we have. With coaching t-ball and my daughters softball team, church activities and family, I kept getting at least a week behind on things. I work full time(radiation protection) and was still working 4-5 hours (part-time selling parts) a night and all day on Saturday trying to keep up and just wore me out. Also doing about 16 shows a year, it is just to much for me. I will still be going to some shows with Tim and probably doing some restoration work, I have a 57 4-door chevy to do now. A good friend of mine sells camaro and chevelle parts and I will do a few shows with him. I will still be on here because the first thing I am going to do is my suburban, that way Donnie(Big Orange) will quit giving me a hard time about not working on it.LOL I wish Tim all the success and will pray for him.
Thanks, David

David...
It is good to see that you have the right priorities. One can only do so much in a day and there comes a time in life where one has to decide what is really important. As you know our children stay young for just a few years and before you know it they leave the nest. Your family is important. My truck is coming along slow because between church, family, job, and schooling there isn't a lot of time left. Sounds like you were burning your candle at both ends. Best of luck and blessings as you continue your journey in this life. Dewayne 70cst |

Radiation Protection?
You must be at Oconee if you live in Lexington and handle nuke stuff ? I used to spend a LOT of time up on Hartwell, Oconee, and Jocasee water skiing when I was a kid. We lived over in Simsonville.

Sorry to hear that your getting out of parts, it's cool that you're passing it on to another board member though. Don't be a stranger.

No stranger here, I will still be around.
Mike. I regulate the use of radioactive material in the State of SC. It is getting really different with the Security around the US. I will be going to more training classes for radiation protection. David

I have only been on this board for a short time and I have met a few of the members. Tony introduced us at the Charlotte show and I'll be with him at Pigeon Forge. Anyway, don't hold that against me.
You guys are some of the nicest people that I have ever met and I wish nothing but the best for everyone here. David, you are doing a very smart thing, family is the most inportant thing in this life and you only get to see your kids grow up once. I am just coming to that realization and I am starting to understand a lot about time management. I look forward to seeing you guys at Pigeon Forge and also seeing if any of you know where the gas pedal is on a go-kart. |

Thanks for everything you guys have done for me (that old AM Radio is still great. Honestly one of the favorite things in my truck I like being able to listen to 650 WSM from Nashville at night.. all the way from near Kansas City MO)
I understand that your family is important... it would be to me too. Since I got a job at Pamida I had to learn to balance my time out between things. Plan on seeing you around the board!
